Contribuisci feedbackWe went to this restaurant for their Easter buffet dinner. Our group arrived at 2 o'clock and were told by the waitress that the buffet would start at 2:15. Unfortunately, this was not true and we weren't served until after 3 o'clock. There was a lack of communication among the staff, including the owner, who suggested we eat elsewhere after we had already paid for our meal. Additionally, we were surprised to find out that our drinks (non-alcoholic) were not included in the price and had to be paid for separately. Despite these issues, we were not attended to properly and had to constantly ask for refills or assistance. This was not the first time we had experienced such disorganization at this restaurant, and we have decided not to return in the future. We had hoped to support a black-owned business, but the overall experience was disappointing. We hope they can improve in the future.
This was our first and last visit to this restaurant. Our party was very disappointed with the food, which was bland and unseasoned. None of us were interested in going back for seconds at the buffet. When we inquired about the advertised dessert, we were casually informed that they did not have any. It was definitely not worth the $50 we spent. My martini came in a 4 oz plastic cup that was only half full, and it cost $10. The couches were not sturdy, as we sank into them when we sat down. The atmosphere was too hot and crowded, so we couldn't enjoy the live band. There was only one waitress for the entire room. I hesitated to leave a review as they expressed a desire for positive feedback. I felt sorry for another party that was turned away despite having reservations, as the restaurant was overbooked.
Best seafood in town! service was great. the ambiente was wonderful. if they have greens and cabbage on the menu for the day, they will get it! they will not be disappointed.
Michael’s soul kitchen compares an upscale restaurant in downtown atlanta. the food was seasoned to perfection. the portions are sufficient to make themselves full and to take the rest for a later snack. I wanted some of their amazing peach-cobblers but waited long to order it. I was so much in the live music that time came away and the kitchen was closed. the personal (including the owner) was very friendly and personal. they interacted with the mass and their performers .. ensure that their experience was outstanding! it was magnificent! they see, hear and taste themselves.
Really had a good time here Friday evening. Food was excellent, everything seasoned to perfection! Drinks were good. The live Jazz band was on point. Please support this black owned business! It's one of our jewels in Indianapolis
