Petite Chou Bistro Champagne

Fun. two big parties elsewhere tied service a bit for our table, but server was attentive and pleasant.

We loved the new additions to the menu. I had the duck confit and it was delicious! Though it was quite busy the service was excellent.

I was really excited about bringing my friend here for her birthday which I did note on the reservation. We were seated outside but not in the nicely decorated for Christmas area…we were seated on the side patio next to a server station. It turned out ok because it wasn’t as noisy and we were able to chat but that’s not ideally where I wanted to be seated with it being a special occasion. I should have requested to be seated somewhere else. There was some server confusion so it took a long time for someone to come to our table. Then our server just seemed a bit absent throughout. Even though she was really nice I expected a higher level of attention given the upscale feel and menu prices. We ordered mushroom duxelles for an appetizer, the bread was hard…like couldn’t bite into it hard. Flavor was good but hard to eat. I had the fish special for the evening, the fish was delicious, served hot and cooked perfectly however the seared potatoes it was served with were cold. My friend had the Coq Au Vin and thought it was just ok, nothing special. We also waited for bread to come to the table because it was “in the oven” but when it came out it was slices of rustic whole grain type bread that was cold. Just odd. I will likely come back and try Petite Chou again hoping for better overall experience. Maybe it was an off night the night we were there.

Petite Chou is quickly becoming one of our favorites! The food and cocktails are absolutely delicious!

Always always outstanding . My reviews are always the same best vibe best food best music best everything, inside or out it’s cozy and the perfect vibe . Anything on the menu is a home run . Weds night dinner this season is coq au von incredible!!
