Contribuisci feedbackRev is perhaps my favorite bar food place in Indy. Is it the best tacos? No. Is it the best Tiki? No, still my favorite. The place is Chill AF, large Tiki bar and terrace area, and I love the kalahu pork tacos to death, plus Chicharrones, uh, yes, please. Excellent staff, top notch, always friendly and always great. Let Tiki speak for the second time, they have a mixer. Ok Snobs, Line-up, Trader Vic didn't like a blender well it was 1934, change mixers, get modern. You want a technical tiki that tastes like 3 types of sour, but is legit 1930s Oakland California? I can suggest some places, I know the rules whatever, but this place, Rev, they have cool smooth tiki that is balanced and damn delicious and damn boozy, and friends, that's all this guy needs. And the chicharrons.
Could be my favorite new-hang! I'm going by every day, but I've never been there. I thought it was just a cool coffee spot. Seems it was always super busy, and I thought, man, these Fountain Sqaure children love their Americans. No, this place is not a café, and apparently these well-place children love their Hawaii-Mexian Fusion! I went through the area just to make my usual excavations, and her fleet wall caught my eye off the road. I was like, get yourself, now that's not coffee taste, that Drar is ghosts! So I went in. Boom! On the way, I was blown by the color arrangement of the secular facility. I had no idea what I was in business for a night. I'm going to the bar, and Roni, one of the owners welcomes me. I declare that I had no idea what or where I was, and how I had no idea what they offered. She said it was a big restaurant and a bar. And I see the caught beer list. Gaaaawd, how could I have missed such a jewel back in the area for the last two years?! I ordered a beer Brewery Dubbel, chilled and took pictures like a single hip-cooled dude does. I talked to some servers, got no names because you know that's creepy to ask names. They did their thing, I did the Vibe thing. I have the chance to talk to one of the other owners, Tufty. I have destroyed the history and core values of the place. Space is clear. I got a tour through the other seats of the Restuarant, and the rest of the bright decor. I then spent more time looking forward to stories of ol and plans for the future. I had a great night. But I didn't do anything because I think I had eaten shortly before. I'm interested in that, giving me another reason to come back. Round 2: Biss! I went back a day ago just to order some food and take a picture so I could post all my pictures and this review. I went up and saw no lights, but the hours at the door said they were open. Always try the door! He opened the door, but no one was there, and the owner explained that the back was the seat of the evening. That's cool, I thought. I can't remember a place where part of the building was closed, but another one was. The back half was rather a Hawaii theme, while the front was rather mexican. I heard the server told a couple who had come that the house was Margarita $5, so when she asked me, that's what I ordered. Who is never in the mood for a margarita? No, this guy! When I was on my drink, I looked at the menu. A selection! I ordered the pig piles, but not the Hawaiian pig piles because they were out. And these tacos were heavenly. They had house made hot sauces, and they added the bite I hoped. When I enjoyed my margarita and pork tacos, I fortunately enjoyed the Jamaican music that hit the stereo. W-rap, I was treated with a performance of Take Five by King Tubby, a Dub legend. All servers as super fun and welcoming. Eating is amazing, owners are hands on, and drinks always flow! Hit this delicacies dinner! If you visit Revolucion Restaurant and Bar on the wells. I see you all!
Yea there are many other tequila bars and Mexican restaurants in the city, but the quality is what separates Revolucion from all other places. All foods are prepared with high standards and the drinks are mixed so smoothly. I recommend getting the nachos. It is enough for two people and obviously looks as delicious as it tastes.
We were here about 4 times. It is on the other side of the city, but we always come because of the quality food and drink and the atmosphere. The staff is amazing and you can say that the owners appreciate their people. The cocktails are full of taste and the menu has something for everyone with appetite fusions. Yesterday we tried to decide where we wanted to go for a drink and meet with some friends. We chose Revolucion and it turned out they were already there. No surprise.
Expansive bar in the front with plenty of seating and space with good Mexican style food and home made hot sauces. (Try the Pink Death! . And in the back a tiki bar vibe with outdoor seating in the summer. Service was quick and drinks and beer were moderately priced.
