Sazón De Panama - Indianapolis

This food was so good! I had the j chicken with coconut rice and cabbage. I added Mac and cheese, fried collard greens, and cornbread so I could taste all of the sides. Oh my Goodness!!! Y’all listen that chicken melted in my mouth. The rice and cabbage was a mixture of sweet and spicy deliciousness. The Mac and cheese was so freaking cheesy and creamy. This place is absolutely amazing! If and when you hear about another Pop Up from them make sure you place your order. You will definitely be pleased!

Food was good but they mixed up the order from someone in front of me and ended up with their food it was cold and they took it out the restaurant eat some of it and brought it back. Some of the lamb chops were bitten off and my bill was 104.00 for j chicken, lamb chops and salmon. Knowing what they did reassures I will never be back.

I am a regular at the restaurant. The family vibe is phenomenal and the food and service is beyond compliment. Love this place!!

We had so much fun at Sazón de Panamà. Oxtail dish sounded intimidating at first, but it ended up being my favorite dish! The wings with the Panama rub were great. My only wish would be for the sweet fried plantains to be less dry. Will definitely come back!

I was looking through Yelp for something different for dinner tonight for me and my date. I came across Sazon de Panama. The establishment was nice and clean and our server was very attentive. I scanned the QR code to access the menu and happened upon an old menu. The server assisted me in locating the current menu at which time I then learned sazon means seasoning. I ordered the Island Braised Oxtail Stew with coconut rice and black beans and fried plantain. By the way, this stew was not a stew as the dish 's name implies. Fava beans were in with the braised oxtails and topped the coconut rice and black beans. This dish!! It was so flavorful with just the right amount of seasonings. I couldn 't get enough. Definitely recommend this dish. My date ordered the J Chicken with the 6 cheese mac cheese, Jasmine rice and red cabbage. His J Chicken was perfect, not too much heat. He thoroughly enjoyed the mac cheese. Now mac cheese isn 't my thing but THIS '6 cheese mac cheese was the best I 've tried. The red cabbage had a nice kick of heat. All-in-all this was a nice surprise and well worth the trip. We 'll be back for more ;
