Steak n' Shake - Indianapolis

They are open!! Go eat again. It was rebuilt and the staff was friendly and helpful. You order now at a kiosk, but our food, also with milkshakes came out very quickly. Tasted like the same Steak ‘n Shake Burger and Pommes I always enjoyed!

Solid location. the staff treated a drunken customer like a champ while still caring for the other customers. It no longer seemed like a sit down restaurant. The focus was on takeover orders and pickup. I'm not sure if it was later or if that's exactly what customers prefer.

The new remodel is great! Very clean and affordable! The staff is ready to help.

Had a late dinner after a concert at 11:00. The order came quickly (even if there were many people there) and everything was good, although I was hoping to order a Steak Frank and a special cherry spiced coke (which I usually order at my Steak n Shake in South-Biege), but I did not see these options on the self-service menu. Otherwise it was a good experience.

This is the most expensive Steak ‘n Shake that I have ever been to!!! My food was great but what I got usually cost me around 13-16 dollars other places! Here I was pushing $30. I will never go back to this location again! The burger alone for close to 6 dollars! That’s usually a meal! I was so disappointed. I loved the kiosk to order. It was very efficient. Im glad I didn’t have to tip a sever. I already put to much on one person alone. I hate how downtowns try to suck customers dry. This is why people prefer dining and shopping in suburbs.
