Huertas - Indio

During our recent visit to Joshua Tree, we were thrilled to discover this restaurant. The staff were friendly, and the food was delicious. It didn't feel overly touristy; it seemed to cater mostly to locals. We definitely plan to return when we're in the Indio area again.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant for the first time! The shrimp cocktail was packed with shrimp and tasted fantastic, and the shrimp lizards were phenomenal! The staff was incredibly friendly, the food was delicious, and the prices were great. You absolutely have to check this place out! We live in Palm Springs and can’t wait to return soon!

The best eggs ever! Homemade tortillas and seriously the best fried beans I've ever had. So full!

Absolutely the best authentic Mexican foods and drinks nearby and far away

It's not a fancy spot, but it's definitely worth a visit. The food is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. You can't really ask for more than that!
