We found our own seats by the window. The other waitress seemed preoccupied talking to what appeared to be her friends, as she didn't bother to explain the menu to us. We waited for a while watching the sushi train, but only one type of sushi was going around. Eventually, we realized there was another train with a better variety of sushi. All colored plates were $3.50, but black plates cost more. There were very few colored plates available, and they weren't worth the price. We decided to leave without eating, and neither waitress noticed as they were engrossed in their phones.
My partner and I were just looking for a quick dinner and we stumbled over this wonderful place. beautiful staff that greeted us in front of the sitting, robot that served them a meal (wild) and surprisingly good eating for such a cheap price. will come back!
The lunchtime was short and the dinge were in the gourmet dining destination, which is westfield indooroopilly food court, but our 3 years old was ruvenous (slept through proper lunch) and that was the closest to everything he would consider to be eating. service was...usually it took a long time to get attention and our bare cup tee was never refilled. deceptiw for a sushi train restaurant, what looks like a long snak train is divided in the did two, and we had the unfortunate to be on the back, which is clear they decided to stop the increase (without making us aware of it when we are looking for a seat). the rich was limited, blunt and moderate in quality. perhaps even annoying that they could not even spell Japanese directly on the poster, who directly hanged over where I sat (this is certainly a bit English, even most diehard of Asian restaurants should be able to get right). I will not be rushed back.
It is our Friday hangout now, thanks to its attentive staff, cheap and fresh dishes and fast service. they also offer a very good choice for vegans, and it is very accessible!
The Good: Soft drinks selections at sushi restaurants can be poor but this restaurant had a nice selection including Noah's custom juices which were really yummy. The Not So Good: Very average sushi. It looked great on the train but sadly not nearly as good...to eat. I tried the eel (ok I guess) and the salmon (rubbery and lacking in flavor) then left and went to the food court to fill up on Hungry Jacks. Service was ok but we went for the sushi so will not return. Sushi 79 in Jindalee is still the benchmark for cheap quick sushi in Brisbane.
