Castle Rock Country Inn

Fantastic stay, It is a great inn that has a great sea view on the mountain top. The front desk gentleman is very helpful and informative. Yes, its restaurant is currently not open for lunch/dinner. But the breakfast is very good which is included in the stay. There are some restaurants within 15 minutes drive. You can find one for your dinner. I hoped I could have stayed longer. Rooms: 5

Beautiful place to stay, lovely breakfast with a view over the bay. Comfortable bed and deluxe pull out which was comfortable as well. Pet friendly, we brought 2 dogs and 2 birds and all the staff we met were pleasant. A black out curtain would have been nice instead of a white curtain.

Excellent welcome, small air-conditioned room with magnificent view, good queen size bed, slightly dated bathroom, fridge in the room. It’s a good inn at a good price. The rooms are as described, they are quiet. The staff is helpful. When we booked there was a claim of a restaurant and bar. There were neither. Breakfast was available. There was a promise of wifi it was erratic at best, often off, and the explanations changed every time. Having visited, I get it, that this is very rural and service is erratic but then explain that (as they should’ve done the restaurant) on the site. There was no effort to compensate or make good on the lack of services because where else can you really go? Rooms: As described. Clean. Quiet. Nearby activities: Lots of nature and the Cabot trail. Walkability: Nothing near to walk to. Car is required. Food drinks: Not available. Breakfast only.
