Peppers Beachfront And Cafe

We had the best dinner here in Gisborne in such a long time . (I've been fortunate enough to eat in many top restaurants in countries like France, Denmark, Norway, Poland, Italy to name just a few . But Peppers Beachfront was up there too . My very fussy French hubby loved his Entree and his Main. The steak was cooked to his liking (very rare . My steak was cooked to my liking (well done . Our group of 6 adults and my 7 year old son enjoyed the food and wine, the excellent service and of course the gorgeous sea views. I'm bringing my Japanese friend here for dinner when she comes in December. So yes Peppers Beachfront gets 5

The food is fantastic. This is a 'lick your plate ' restaurant. Selection of drinks were great from the rosé I ordered to the espresso martini. The view from the deck was lovely as the sun went down.

Valentine's Day experience was divine, with fabulous food and wine/beer matches, knowedgable and attentive wait staff. A very enjoyable evening. Highly recommended.
