Asked for a table for 8 and was asked to wait which was not an issue but when we sat down more waiting started. Waited for the menus, no offer of water, no wait staff came back to take our orders, went in and asked and told we would be seen too shortly, Another wait! It was NOT busy at the time when we were there and it was not late (12:45). When the staff finally attended to take our orders there were no pancakes, no battered fish and chips, no chicken for the salad, no mango smoothy.........! We finally struck on stuff that they did have and then....ohh why bother; I am not going to continue with all the issues that went wrong. BIG disappointment.
We went in for lunch mid week. Not very busy. The drinks took over 40 minutes to come out.... 2 cokes and smoothie. Meals took even longer. When my poached egg finally arrived it was hard boiled. Small portion size - left feeling hungry. Would not recommend at all. We gave feedback as we left and the staff acted like they didn't care.
I write this as I am sitting waiting for a cup of tea and a toasted sandwich. The restaurant is not even half full and I am still waiting. Took 25 minutes for the food and then had to ask where our drinks were. Unless you are a fan of the coffee I wouldn't waste my time.
Great location! made my day even better with lovely food and beautiful smile , well done guys ! See you soon!
The Coffee Club was very busy on the Sunday we visited and the meals took quite a while to be delivered but the staff were friendly and the meals were delicious. I went to the ladies toilet and there was a women in the cubicle beside me changing her babies nappy on the floor. I think they should supply a change table for parents with babies. We have visited this Coffee Club serveral times over the years when passing through Innisfail, it's always nice coffee and food.
