Buren Wirt - Innsbruck

We stayed a week in Innsbruck and visited this facility twice! Amazing food and service! Surely the effort to get there is worth it! Great portions, excellent value and a truly unforgettable experience! Away from the tourist route but authentic and a real treat! Maria took care of us so well, excellent recommendations! Do not miss this great experience!!

This can be your place if you are looking for traditional dishes of Tyrolean cuisine served in an authentic Austrian pub. Food was good and service was nice, but really slow. It is a strange and quiet place where you could hardly find tourists. Smoking is allowed in one of their rooms that disturb when the pub is really crowded.

Our Airbnb host recommended this place as he was near where we stayed. This was definitely the highlight of our trip and I'm just disappointed that we haven't gone earlier during our trip! The service there was very friendly and they were very accommodating as we did not speak much German and offered us a translated English menu. They were so beautiful and helpful when they try to choose food and drinks. The dishes are massive and delicious. Very recommended!!

This restaurant was packed upon our arrival, so they must be doing something right. Seemed that most people were smart enough to have reservations, I was not one of them. Thankfully, they found a table for our group of six in the indoor smoking section. This restaurant is very dark and smoky. The smoke was so heavy that it distracted from our meal. The food was okay. Our schnitzel seemed overcooked and the vegetables not so fresh. Service was very slow as one waittress was serving the entire room, around 50 people.

This restaurant has a faithful following, and theQuality of food is quite good!We went on an evening when the only seats left were smoking. It was difficult as I have asthma,and the children did not like the smoke.I recommend an early seating time for families, and the food is very good!
