When I made my choice I asked if I could order some chilli oil to go with my noodles. I was then told complimentry chilli oil was available and this looked fresh compared to oil I had been offered the previous night.I was asked if I wanted additional chilli added to my dishes in the kitchen and also if I wanted slightly smaller portions as I had ordered two mains. The meals arrived in 5-10 minutes which was what I expected and looked and tasted great. For desert I ordered pineapple fritters with Ice cream (ok took me back memory wise to Chinese meals with my father). When these arrived the meal was then flambed by the waitress. Overall Setting Good, Service good, Food excellent.
This restaurant is tucked away off of the main streets, but it is pretty popular with the locals. I was there on a Sunday night (they are closed Mondays) and it was quite busy. The menu is fairly extensive and varied. I opted for the spicy chicken (chicken, onions, garlic, chiles) and it was delicious and quite spicy. For my taste I would have liked a little more heat, but for most people this would be perfect. Rice is an add-on for an additional charge (or fried rice or noodles). The tap beer was cold and priced right (I think 3.80 Euros for .5 liter). At the end of my meal the gave me an after dinner drink of what I am guessing was a plum liqueur. The service was friendly and attentive and I really enjoyed my meal here. They also have free wifi.
We enjoyed our meal very much and especially the carved vegetable decorations, who knew a mooli squirrel and carrot dog could be so entertaining! The good was delicious and good portion sizes too.
We stumbled upon this resturant during a day trip to Innsbruck. It was nice and clean so we decided to give it a shot. The building was a little warm but that was quickly overlooked by the amazingly friendly waitress who spoke perfect English :) most of the menu was in English but she stated, without prompting, that she would translate or clarify anything we need. We ordered crispy duck and pineapples and fried rice with shrimp. First the duck was awesome! Tasty and crisp, despite being served in a sauce. The fried rice had so much shrimp!! The waitress continued to check in frequently and even was happy to give us some pointers on the town. If you are looking for good food, clean/relaxing environment with a helpful staff, you found it!!!
Staff is very polite and helpful. He speaks good English. Food is ok. There is non-smoking and smoking seating. We seated at non-smoking area which is inside the restaurant. It was 29 C with no air conditioning which was absolutely baking.
