However, everyone deserves a second chance, and I must say that this time was much better than before. The staff was very polite, although a bit slow to notice when you are waiting. The food was delicious, and our server was very friendly. Overall, it was a great improvement, and we will definitely return in the future.
We had visited this restaurant twice before and were extremely impressed by both the service and the food. However, our experience tonight was disappointing. The Caesar salad we ordered was overly salty, so I had to send it back and requested the same salad with bacon and capers on the side. My partner ordered the Red Thai Curry Bowl, which was runny and had too many greens, creating a messy dish. It's unfortunate that what we thought was a great find turned out to be a letdown.
This restaurant doesn't really try. My server was fantastic, but the rest was really disappointing. The decor and the atmosphere is bland, cold, and the bare minimum to be called a restaurant. I had a cocktail called The M.A.C. that had an incredible ingredient list, but... came out of Bland and bored. My Ribeye Steak was not really spiced, was overcooked (I asked about medium sized and slightly over medium and carburized). The garlic potatoes were good! The prices they charge are ridiculous for what you get.
We were really not happy that the chicken Asiago Pasta was the pasta extremely overdue and chicken gum, Caesar salad had no taste. Very disappointing
I have been visiting Copper Point for over fifteen years. Recently, I stopped by with three friends for drinks and snacks after a round of golf. The group ahead of us complained about a long wait before being greeted by the host. We asked for a table on the deck, but were told there were none available, despite several empty tables. When we questioned this, we were told a table would need to be cleaned off for us, but the host seemed unwilling to accommodate us. A supervisor intervened and promised to find us a table, but then made a snide remark about our attitude. Disappointed by the poor service, our group and the one behind us decided to leave. It's a shame that this individual, who may be in a position of authority, failed to represent the management and the golf course well. Local support will be crucial for this restaurant once the tourists are gone, but unfortunately, our group and our families and friends will not be returning.
