The Rocks Taverna

This is a gem on a rockface. Beautiful location if you can find it. The man that greated and served us was lovely, friendly attentive. We had a variety of starters as 1 of us is vegetarian and the mains were predominantly meat and fish. The food was very good and 6 starters left us all full, delicious sardines, chicken, giant beans, saganaki, mushrooms bread, the beans were fabulous. The local white wine was nice as well. I will definitely go back, I hope it is busier in the high season was only quite because its heading to the end of the summer. Value for money was good, I was surprised that it worked out at €17 each with a litre of wine, beers water. This place is great! The restaurant closes at 11.30pm, but when we arrived at 9.30pm they turned us away. Our overall rating for the food, service, and atmosphere is 1 out of 5.

The tavern provides a gorgeous view. I suggest trying the traditional dishes over the fish or BBQ options. The moussaka was particularly enjoyable. The service received a rating of 4 out of 5.
