Ichiban Grill - Iowa City

I paid for my meal, but when I arrived, the restaurant was closed and I never received my food or a refund. However, I did notice someone inside the restaurant.

This placed is closed they took my order online and my money but never delivered my food no one said anything about the place being shut down until 7/22/22 they should not say open on the website

I stopped in at 335pm and they refused me service. The lady stated that they were closed and they don't close until 4pm. Very unprofessional and I will let e eryone I know to not visit here. They need to change their times if they are closing early.

This place has a few bad reviews which made me nervous waiting for my food but once the food arrived, I was happy. I got their beef hibachi which was delicious. The meat was tender and seasoned well. It’s actually pretty good meat. It came with cabbage and rice which was perfect to go with the really well seasoned and yummy beef sauce. Would order this again! There are only two tables to sit at, decide to eat in the restaurant and there were people in and out it constantly, seems like a popular place.

I cannot recommend this restaurant. The food lacked flavor, the meat portions were small, and there were unpleasant large chunks of fat on the meat.
