Shakespeare's Pub And Grill - Iowa City

The server are excellent. after home solid people types. love them all. the food is prepared with care, but all standard pub dishes. it's a super neighborhood place.

The food and the atmosphere were exactly what we wanted. I had a great reuben and my wife was thrilled by her cheeseburger. the detour of I-80 worth.

I am extremely disappointed. Shakespeares has been in Iowa town for as long as I can remember, at least 20 years, right? Despite driving past it countless times, I had never given it a try. Feeling adventurous, I finally decided to check it out. To my surprise, the wings were absolutely fantastic! They were cooked to perfection and had a delicious flavor. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was great, and the food was delicious. What's not to love? Shakespeares is the perfect spot for a wonderful evening out.

Great food, great service. Breakfast sample platter is always amazing; probably the best pancakes and sausage ive ever eaten. The only problem is a few select staff tends to try to start drama over nothing, or in otherwords, just very unsociable. But most of the staff are great friendly peoples.

I’m from Denver and it’s been a struggle finding good restaurants out here. This place has great food, their breakfast is amazing and they have wonderful servers.
