Crimson Cup Coffee Shop Clintonville

I visited the drive-thru to order a coffee that I had really enjoyed on my first trip to the restaurant (I had a great experience, so I was eager to try it again). This time, I wanted to get that same coffee. The staff member mentioned that the cherry blossom cold foam was popular, so I decided to give it a try on top of my cold brew. However, when I got to the window and tasted it, I realized I didn’t really like it. Unfortunately, the employee didn’t offer any assistance or suggestions to make it better; he simply wished me a good day. As a result, I ended up spending money on a drink that I won’t even finish. I was really looking forward to enjoying my Crimson Cup this morning, but I left feeling disappointed. That said, the Mexican corn-stuffed bagel ball I tried was fantastic! As someone who works in the service industry, I believe in treating others as I would like to be treated, and this is why I rarely write reviews.

I've been giving this location multiple chances because their seasonal drinks consistently sound amazing, but I always find their espresso to be bitter. I'm unsure if this is just an issue with this particular location or something else, as I've visited several other cafes that serve Crimson Cup beans, and they’re always great.

I always tell my friends that this place is what Starbucks aspires to be. The drinks here are simply fantastic, and the baked goods are fresh and likely made locally on the same day. If you visit later in the day, you might find some items sold out. Everyone I've encountered who works there has been extremely friendly. I usually use the drive-thru, but I've been inside a few times as well. The interior is clean, bright, and stylish. While there isn't a lot of seating, there’s just enough for those who want to relax and enjoy their drinks. There's also a small outdoor seating area.

I had a wonderful experience at this coffee shop, thanks to the friendly staff. I stopped by because it’s part of the Experience Cbus coffee trail, and I will definitely be returning due to the excellent service, delicious coffee, and inviting atmosphere! They have a layout similar to the well-known Seattle coffee chain, but that’s where the comparisons end. The coffee is fresh and tasty—totally down-to-earth—without any of that pretentious vibe. Plus, the staff communicates in a way that’s easy to understand! The ambiance is relaxed, and even on this scorching hot day, it felt cool inside. This is a perfect spot to drive to and meet a friend for coffee! I'm really glad I discovered what everyone else already knows!

Crimson Cup not only boasts a diverse menu filled with delicious drinks, but the exceptional service at this location truly sets it apart from other coffee shops in Columbus! The staff is consistently friendly, welcoming, and engaging. Additionally, the drive-thru is a convenient option that allows me to stop by with my dog, who loves their pup cups!
