Steak 'n Shake

I miss having a waiter/waitress. It was more personable.

Called literally to make sure that my fries were fresh, was told that it would be my dasher fault if my order wasn’t right because their busy, I repeated what the person said that answered the phone which she didn’t state her name. Service was poor I honestly think the 5 star reviews are fake or people that work there. It’s sad when the restaurant doesn’t take pride in making sure that the food you pay for isn’t made correct, just because you can tell DoorDash your order was wrong! That fact that it’s never about the money or time it takes to get your food if you order online or in person but the customer service it’s self. If you’re a person like me that value good customer service I wouldn’t even bother spreading money here. I know my 1% opinion might not matter because most people don’t read reviews but if you do don’t spend your money here or order from another store like I will be doing in the near future, I feel bad for the employees and owners that actually do work here that appreciate their job!

Steak and shake has really gone down hill. Whole restaurant was dirty and gross. No wait staff, only kiosks to order with no help or interaction. They call out a number when your stuff is ready and you pick it up yourself. You must scan a drink ticket to self serve the drink station, and the scanner does not work well. You must scan every time, and refills are limited. May as well go to McDonald's at this rate.

The food was good but the drive through took forever.

The food was came out pretty fast. Everything was fresh and good. The pop counter was a bit of a mess but everything else was cleaned up.
