The visit was an experience! For the signature Yun Nan Crossing Bridge Noodle meal, they would bring out this sizzling pot of savory soup, alongside with 12 small dishes of various vegetables or proteins (including a COOKED QUAIL EGG!! for you to add into the noodle bowl. It was such a fun experience and I was glad to find a place that is staying true to how they do the noodles over in Yunnan Province in China. The crispy salt pepper chicken is also to die for. The savory breading is packed with white pepper flavor but not too potent, and the chicken thigh meat underneath is as tender and juicy as it gets!
Just watched my friend get turned down from trying to order from this restaurant just because he couldn't speak Chinese when the servers spoke English. I have never experienced anything like this yet. Horrible place.
This was our first time having Crossing Bridge noodles. We all loved our meal. The soup was so flavorful and the ingredients were fresh and tasty. I also loved the scallion pancakes and the homemade pork dumplings. Highly recommended!
Step away from ramen and pho for a bit and treat yourself to a new kind of noodle dish. This is a regional menu and it offers combinations not found anywhere else. Broths are piping hot and you assemble your soup at the table with fresh ingredients. The mala pork chop noodles are amazing! But I CRAVE that spicy beef salad... There's a bit of a language barrier but their menu is mostly self-explained. Ask for fatty meats, you won't regret it. You'll leave full with a new definition of soul food!
