Came for crabs, but sold by the time I reach. Recommended to call earlier to reserve the crab. The owner of the place took our order and recommended the fishballs that were so tender and fish bread that was really fragrant and soup was so delicious!
Very good food at affordable prices. Read the previous reviews about slow and rude service, but our experience was great! The boss was really hospitable and friendly, even offered us local fruits for sampling. Fishballs are very 'bouncy' and delicious. Camping chicken texture is perfect, we ordered both roasted and steam. Fried Veg is very fresh and well cooked. Black pepper crab hit salted egg yolk crab, the latter 's sauce tasted a little too sweet for our pleasure and the meat lacks seafood sweetness. Will definitely go back when we revisit Ipoh!
The food was delicious, environment was good, the boss was very friendly and attentive. We ordered crab glass noodles, eel clay pot rice, cheese prawn, mussels and vege. Everybody was great! Go through other tables and all tables were with crab glass noodles, give it a try!
Located in the Bercham suburb of Ipoh and popular with the locals, this seafood restaurant offers affordable yet delicious seafood dishes. We ordered lala (clams), steamed sek pan (grouper fish), fish balls, vegetables, and crispy fried chicken for the kids. The steamed sek pan was fresh and tender with balanced flavors. I love the lala (clams). The crispy fried chicken, with perfectly crisped skin and nicely seasoned tender flesh was a hit with the kids. We came early for dinner. The restaurant does get packed during dinner time. Ample street parking.
