Two of our guests are true Coffee Connoisseurs one ordering a three shot expresso the other a five shot! These guys are super fussy and usually disappointed with their coffee purchases BUT today they were super impressed at just how good the coffee was. Our Mushroom, Haloumi and Scrambled Eggs on the most gorgeous thick Pumpkin Toast was simply divine, so tasty and flavoursome and cooked to absolute perfection. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and it was awesome to catch up with Chef PK in between his cooking food for and serving his customers. What a fabulous place thanks to PK and Jolie and staff. You guys rock! Next time you want a decent coffee and marvellous food, do yourselves a favour and head on down to “Ellen And Rod”..........
I've had a couple of Almond milk coffees from Ellen and Rod and they have been really great! That's saying something since I am the world fussiest non-dairy coffee drinker . Today we had lunch and it was absolutely delightful! Very happy to recommend! I will be returning as often as I can to this little gem.
Our favourite breakfast spot in Ipswich. Great coffee and the best Eggs Benny with house made hollandaise sauce.
I had a late brunch at Ellen and Rod. The pumpkin sourdough bread was a nice addition to Pete's perfectly poached eggs. Jolie makes a great coffee and roasts her own beans. Well worth the trip from Brisbane for a relaxing visit with a couple of lovely people passionate about great food and coffee in Ipswich.
What a pleasant surprise this place is. Happy to change the menu to suit Mr 8. The coffee is superb and the food magnificent food. Add to that the lovley staff and we were very impressed.
