I went there with friends for a midweek beer and an evening meal. Usual pub food.... probably a little better than most. Very friendly staff/atmosphere and a clean tidy bar and outdoor dining area. I 'd guess they have music there at times but none while we were there We enjoyed our meal and spoke to some locals. All good and we were very happy with our meal and time there. The hotel is listed in Google search results as the Ipswich Central Hotel. That 's odd because it 's called The Metropolitan Hotel Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

30 mins from Brisbane and you have a great old pub with service and good soldo food. Make the trip! Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Parking space: Plenty of parking
