Dovetails - Ipswich (QLD)

What an enjoyable classy restaurant. All our meals were delicious. We waited a while for our mains but the wait was worth it. The service was great and we will certainly be back. I totally recommend the prawn and crab ravioli. Thanks Dovetails.

My mum and I enjoyed an AMAZING breakfast for my birthday yesterday morning (18.11.17). We received exceptional service from Georgia, she was very professional and attentive. Another lovely girl, who’s name I forgot to ask was also very professional and provided great service. We both had coffee and Eggs Benedict. The food was great and very generous portions. My only negative would be that I asked for hard poached eggs and they came out runny, but mums were firmer so we just swapped.. no biggy. All in all, we will definitely return

Lovely restaurant with nice clean premises, attentive and friendly staff. Meals were reasonably priced for a quality restaurant, with food being fantastic. The steak was cooked to perfection, and attention to detail of the deserts and taste just delightful. Would truly recommend this restaurant.

The food is consistently excellent, and well priced. I have not had any meal less than 8/10 (and several 9+/10) in several visits here. Staff are genuinely friendly not always polished, but genuine and helpful. Delightful venue and deck also. We love this place.

Had dinner here Saturday night. Service was wonderful. Was never left waiting long. We both had the Barramundi special and it was the best Barramundi we'd ever had. Amazing flavours. Wish it was a permanent menu item!!
