Bristol Arms - Ipswich

On a very cold December day we chose to visit Shotley purely to enjoy lunch at The Bristol Arms. As always the welcome was warm and the food was excellent. Well worth a visit whatever the weather.

I can't speak to the food as I only went for drinks, but it's a great spot outside to enjoy the sunset. The staff is friendly, and it's a traditional pub with no frills, which is very refreshing.

Staff were so friendly and welcoming the BBQ food for the bank holiday looked superb but we had already made arrangements to eat so will be returning to sample. It was busy with customers eating outside in the sunshine, so just had a drink on this occasion. It’s the good service and friendly staff that make this place

This pub's furniture appears to be discarded, giving off a grim and unappealing atmosphere. I will not be returning to this dump of a restaurant.

I have visited this restaurant many times over the years. Last night, I had a very satisfying and affordable meal. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding.
