The Greyhound - Ipswich

I had a great experience at this restaurant/pub with excellent food and service. The outdoor seating area is lovely and dog-friendly, making it a perfect spot to bring your furry friend. Customers are free to bring their dogs and the restaurant even provides water dishes for them. The entire serving team was exceptionally friendly and attentive. We ordered the lamb kofta and chicken satay, both of which were delicious and beautifully presented. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the food and service we received.

I highly recommend this lovely pub for a delicious vegan roast. We were extremely pleased with our meals after a few nights of struggling to find good vegan options. The vegan haggis was fantastic, filled with a variety of tasty vegetables, served with crispy fries and flavorful gravy. The additional red cabbage was also a standout. Overall, the staff was incredibly friendly and the large garden was a wonderful place to enjoy our meal in the sunshine. I can only say one thing: yummy yummy yummy! A perfect 10 out of 10 experience.

The food and service at this restaurant are amazing. The Sunday roast is a must-try, and the servers and atmosphere are friendly. We had been treated poorly at another establishment nearby but felt almost like royalty at The Greyhound. Definitely recommended for visitors.

Beautiful eating and beautiful place, beautiful garden seats and large “Pub vibe” on the inner. steak pie was a great selection of beer and other cocktails and wine selection. perfect place on a weekend afternoon.

Excellent food, staff and atmosphere. Booked a table for a meal with my manager yesterday. I have been past the Greyhound hundreds if not thousands of times and never really thought to visit, however my manager was in Ipswich yesterday and as the location is close to our workplace I decided we would give it a try we were not disappointed the staff were friendly and polite the range and quality of beers was great and the food was excellent. We sat in the beer garden which is nicely maintained and set out and spotlessly clean and tidy. Our delicious meal was piping hot well presented served very quickly for us to enjoy. Many of our work colleagues visit the Greyhound so next time they are there I will be joining them for sure. Thanks to all.
