I'm here with my wife for the last dinner at kreta. here's amazing! the food was delicious and super fresh. the service was wonderful and hearty. the waitress went through all the elements on the menu and told us about the food and ingredients, as we did not understand Greek. finally, the recipe desserts the mother were perfect. recommend this family-run restaurant. my wife and I will definitely go back to kreta for our future travel. a lot of luck for the business to survive from the pandemic! love this place!

The best service and the food we had throughout our trip. this restaurant is surely a hidden gem. the menu comes only in Greek, but one of the contributors will sit down and explain each item on the menu and create an ingenious culinary experience tailored to their preferences. it is cheap relatiw and the food is the most authentic and tasty we had on our trip so far. you can really taste that everything is made by scratch and with love. in any case a must visit place when they are close!

One of our best meals on kreta. beautiful little gem of a restaurant hidden behind a shopping center in a small street. the food was delicious, especially the mosquitoes with ouzo and the ink boiled inkfish. the family of the owners are lovable. wein was also great!

One of our favorites (if not the best food experiences on kreta. it is run by a family and the daughter sat with us to explain every dish in English. She was funny and brutally honest and I loved her. some of the dishes sounded really unique in comparison to the regular offer in other Cretan restaurants and I can't remember the exact names, but I would definitely recommend to try them out (mushrooms with honey and lemon schädling? eggs that are boiled from boiled goat's milk in foam? All that we tried was absolutely delicious and even the broth was absolutely delicious. we were charged a total of about 40€. the place is a bit hard to find, but as soon as they arrive there, they are led into a beautiful open space with a few tables and fresh air. try to find the toilets when they are there, it's fun!

Hidden pearl of Heraklion! Family run tavern. They wade us feel like we back home, where we were loved and appreciated. Surprisingly lovely. The menu is quite small and hence everything is made up to the perfection. We were introduced to the menu (as it is all in Greek) and after making our food choice, we were given a great intro into wine list and their suggestion matched the food perfectly. Great choice! Lovely local music not that loud so we could speak and hear each other, and mum”s sweet treat. We would recommend this place to all friends and we will be back here again. Thank you a lot !!!
