Winery Stilianou - Irakleion

Absolutely amazing experience and mary (5th generation daughter) was an amazing host! the wee is unbelievable and the olives are just for dying! both the tour as well as the olive oil and wine tasting are the price very worth it! would love to come back once in the future and buy more of their delicious wine, as they do not get them in any super markets. this family deserves the richest blessings.

We visited this beautiful wine cellar with an olive farm today and are absolutely amazed by it. we were warmly welcomed by the parents (4th generation) and the daughter and the son (i.e. in 5th generation) so that you felt right at home. the family company specializes in wine and olive oil production. we have made both the tour through the weinberg and the wine and olive oil tasting. the visit of the abbey was very educational and both the wine and the olive oil that was presented to us at tasting were fantastic. we come back every year and can recommend a visit there to everyone! we had to be driven to the website with the taxi as we had not rented a car that cost 25€. later they told us that the car drivers know that they use tourist and that this amount is much too high. ps: ask the driver to turn to their taximeter and ask for a bill at the end so they can't fool them! we have learned it on the hard way! In view of the circumstances, it was uncertain how we would get back to the city as there was no bus from the city. then we were directly insured by the family that we would find a way back. so we would like to thank her daughter for the ride! we loved the stay there absolutely! every penny worth! ‘

A mast going, owner is great welcoming and very nice. wine tasting is only 5€ for 4 weine per person, cheese player supplement is just one has to cry with these. great olive oil and really local! You can feel the real Greek living on a weingut here. a running gear is easy to it, as on each row they get information where to go and the whole road is full in good. come here, get a wine taste, buy bottles that support real locals. on one way here they also have other great weeping goods, but they are not worth spending time. if they only have time for one, this is safe: better then all the big ones.

What a lovely and most unexpected find followed the signs to this vineyard on a whim and were very pleasantly surprised. The views are stunning and you just sit there and look out over a beautiful vista. Bought the basic wine tasting package together with their bread and their own olive oil. The young lady who served us was extremely polite and helpful, plus the wines most palatable. Would definitely recommend anyone to visit.

There's nothing else to say than this is a 4th generation family run winery that offers a truly wonderful experience. Their wine tasting is perfection, and I would highly recommend a food platter and winery tour to match. We will certainly be returning one day, as it was a highlight of our trip!
