With distance the best experience we had in kreta, even probably best experience ever! service was super, very friendly and attentive waiter. the mood is wonderful, great music, great decoration, great hookahs. but the food and cocktails were the best! each dish is prepared with love to detail, very tasteful and truly exceptional! right for cocktails, unusual and incredible recipes, beautifully presented. it was so good that we came back the next day before we conquered our flight, and we would have gone back if it wasn't our last day. if they are in heraklion, they cannot go without trying this place! 110% recommend and go back

We sat here for lunch and some drinks. probably the best seating in heraklion with regard to comfort and spaciousness. eating was great, the option kitchen was also a nice supplement. looks like an ideal place to enjoy snacks and cocktails in the evening, so we will be back.

Xalavro or chalavro the openbar is a cocktail bar and a restaurant which is housed in a building dating from 1900 in the korai milatos street in the heart of the city heraklion. with breakfast, lunch and dinner and amazing cocktails in a unique open air environment in the courtyard of a traditional Cretan building. I ordered chicken fillet and mojito cocktail. Chicken filet was so delicious, but overall I loved the atmosphere and environment in the open courtyard. the service was exceptional and I loved the special shisha.

We had brunch here. very nice service and beautiful, delicious food. they welcome them with cold water: the cinnamon roll cake and the cheese, honey and walnut sandwich was amazing

Perhaps one of the BEST culinary experiences ever... The food of the Xalavro open kitchen was more than delicious and we were really impressed with the unique flavours of the plates. It’s definitely a must try!! Don’t forget to try the amazing tuna tartar...
