Sonic Drive-in - Irmo

The food was tasty, but there was a mix-up with our order. We ordered three number one sandwiches, requesting to have one item removed from each, but all three were served with everything included. To be fair, there was a long line during our visit, but the kitchen staff should have double-checked the orders instead of assuming that all burgers come as listed on the menu. Additionally, we ordered two drinks without ice cream, and while they were delivered as requested, there was still a bit of confusion.

I've been a patron of Sonic since its very first day at the St. Andrews and Broad River location when it first opened. I knew the father and his wonderful son well. I used to make tamales for him at home. My daughter worked there for over 15 years, and the family is truly fantastic. I love Sonic! - Anna Escarrega

It's a nice place overall, but I recommend avoiding ordering food at night. That's when they tend to get most of the orders wrong. I specifically asked for a dish with Tedder-Tarts, but they ended up giving me a cheeseburger instead. (I still ate it, though.)

They make the best milkshakes, just a star docked because they are super expensive!

Quality timely service. The entrance and exit from Walmart side is bad. It should be fixed as it has to be causing damage to some vehicles, Even though it's been patched multiple times. I do my best to avoid the bad spot but it's difficult. I have decided not eat there a couple of times because of rough roadway on exit.
