Ameci Pizza Pasta - Irvine

I want to mention that Amecci Pizza is definitely superior to Burratinos. They simply have better marketing. In my experience, Amecci Pizza is the best I have come across.

Ameci is a small, cozy restaurant that could use some updating. It is family-owned by an Afghan family from Brooklyn, New York, which is my favorite part of the city. The Irvine location has been open since the early 2000s, so almost 25 years. I ordered a cheese and beef slice, which was delicious with well-cooked beef and plenty of cheese. The staff were very polite, humble, and friendly. Overall, a great experience.

This is an excellent pizzeria. The crust and sauce are spot on! It's not too thin like a Neapolitan pizza or too thick like a Costco pizza. The flavor is delicious and the pizzas are made fresh.

Fabulous late lunch. Ord r Ed the rigatoni and sauges with peppers.

Super friendly staff, we had our food ready in shortest time possible. Took one star off for the cleanness of the place. Tables were sticky and not clean. I would order take out next time.
