I came to lunch today because I was in the mood for Chinese. I ordered the shark ribs. it came with a salat rice and egg-dried soup. I think it was a lunch because it was just over $11 on my drink. that's a lot of food for the price to be in irvine, I thought the prices would be higher. you get a lot of rice. I chose brown rice. the ribs were plentiful and very tasty. the suppe and the salate were also good. I ate outside not far from the fountain in the shadow. it was very nice. service was fast and friendly. if I have time, I want to explore the menu because I come back in definitiw.

My best friend and I love to eat here together. We have been coming for years and have fallen in love with the restaurant. Our favorite dish is the sweet and sour chicken and we love to share a boat of cream cheese wontons. The lunch special is an amazing value. I’d give it more stars if I could!!!

The lunch special is a reasonable price and a smaller meal and it's served until 5 good deal. My husband said to add Monday through Friday only. He enjoyed his house special shrimp well I had chicken with mushrooms yummy

This little Taiwanese restaurant is located in the food court area of the center. Outside the restaurant one will find tables and chairs for dining. There's also children play area as well as a large water fountain with very soothing sounds. The food at Asian Tapas is very good and with very reasonable lunches from $6.50 to $7.99 which includes, soup, salad, rice hot tea.... what a bargain. Service is excellent and prompt. Love this place ... eat here once a week.

The name of the restaurant, Asian Taps, led me to believe that they would have small dim sum-type items. The menu is very much like a sit-down family restaurant. The food came out super fast for what I was expecting. The food was satisfactory.
