Kona Grill - Irvine

Came here for the first time on a Saturday afternoon and was taken back by how great this place is.

The restaurant manager's poor customer service makes it difficult to overlook at this establishment. The restaurant also appears to be lacking adequate staffing.

Food - tomato basil bisque was too salty Beef filet cooked medium was like medium-well.

La Marea was a big surprise. We visit the area occasionally and the restaurants are fine. La Marea comes from Westchester where we have many to choose from and it definitely falls into that category. The food was outstanding and the place was very welcoming and comfortable. Can't say enough well. All you have to do is try it yourself.

Excellent food. The mozzarella and tomato salad was the best I've ever had. Shrimp and scallops over polenta were a wonderful and unique mix of flavors. The menu had a wide variety and the service was wonderful
