After dining at A&J, we decided to visit Lollicup in this plaza which also houses other drink shops like 7Leaves, Happy Lemon, and Bambu. I chose Lollicup because it reminded me of my college years in San Diego, when we had several locations to choose from. Unfortunately, there is now only one location in Chula Vista, which is quite far south for me. I ordered the Almond Milk Tea, which strangely tasted like the Soy Bean Drink from the juice boxes found in supermarkets. While it was good, I found that it lacked the usual tea strength that I typically enjoy from places like DingTea or KungFu Tea. On the other hand, my boyfriend, who is not a big fan of tea, loved the more milky taste of the Almond Milk Tea. The restaurant has a spacious turquoise L-shaped patio with seating outside, offering a view of the pond and surrounding scenery.
This was my first visit to this restaurant and my first time trying Boba in general. It was decent, but I will still give it five stars because the people I was with who enjoy Boba liked it a lot. The establishment was clean, the staff was polite, and service was quick. I appreciated that there was no wait in line, and they also offered outdoor seating. I would suggest checking out this place.
When I crave boba, this is the place I go to, and it's just as good today as it was years ago. Their mango milk tea makes me sad when other places don't have it available. The popcorn chicken is always fantastic. The team is friendly, and the service of drinks is especially quick. On top of that, there's super cute places to sit right outside, water and ducks. And it's right next to a fantastic bakery. Highly recommend, even though the parking lot can be rough (I justdrive to the back as if going to the offices when it's busy).
The best boba in all irvine! and the spiral potato is also delicious!
