If you love dessert, you must try MoDo! This place is truly amazing. I had heard about the mochi donut trend but didn't think much of it until I tried MoDo. Now, I actually prefer mochi donuts over regular donuts. This wasn't my first time trying mochi donuts, so I was familiar with the taste. I was surprised to find this place located in Mitsuwa, it's kind of hidden in my opinion. If it weren't for Yelp, I would have never discovered it. I think MoDo would thrive even more if it had its own storefront. The flavor options were a bit limited, but I tend to be boring when it comes to flavors. I tried the honey and Oreo dark chocolate. My favorite was definitely the honey, which didn't taste like honey at all, but more like a light glazed donut. The texture of the mochi donut was chewy and delicious on its own, so it didn't need much added to it. I believe each order is made fresh because whenever I have been here, the donuts are so hot that they need to cool down before they can be eaten.

I got a total of 6 for $14.80, including tax. 1 Lilikoi (passion fruit) 1 Matcha 1 Cookies Cream 1 Honey-Glazed 1 Dark Chocolate (regular) 1 Dark Chocolate (sprinkles) The donuts are made to order. Guaranteed freshness! We grabbed a table at the food court and tried the donuts right away. So chewy and delicious I can't wait to come back!
