Small hole in the wall like restaurant. I don’t know if there are much other Somali restaurants in DFW but regardless, this is what I was looking for. Chicken and beef suqaar with rice and pasta. Very good and similar to ones I’ve had in Seattle. Chicken sambosa was nice but spicy. Will be coming back again.
I was driving back on my way home and found this place. This place gave a feeling of home, hearty portions of meat, beef was great. Lamb shank ran out, I came aground closing time. They allow mixing any of the meats. One meal fed both me and wife and still left overs of meat and rice. Very nice owner, gave me a free samosa and banana lol
Cafe Medina offers an authentic taste of Somali cuisine with a warm, homely touch. I had the pleasure of trying their mixed plate, which included a delightful variety of beef, lamb, and chicken. The portion sizes are incredibly generous – our group of four shared a single plate and still had leftovers to take home! The food is absolutely delicious and earns a solid 10 out of 10 from me. Additionally, the cafe has a dedicated prayer space, making it a welcoming spot for everyone. Highly recommended!
Great food, Great people, great coffee! Loved Somalian
