Church's Texas Chicken - Irving

The chicken pliers are definitely clear, maybe not my favorite, but still tasty. I recommend regular with Spicy. The Jalapeño-Poppers were also a good side. The employee who took my order was friendly and polite, offered suggestions when I asked, and brought my food when it was ready. The dining area itself was quite down, but the food and service questions were more important to me anyway.

Win a 2 on atmosphere because the air conditioning didn't work when I visited. They were also from CO2. Only had tea available and no soda. Food: 5/5

The staff here are wonderful, and I enjoy shopping at this location. The parking lot is clean as well.

I had visited this restaurant before and everything was excellent, but this time there were several items that were lacking, like jalapeños, mashed potatoes, and the picky chicken. The staff didn't even know what a Texas 2-piece was. I could really taste the oil on my chicken as well. I'm not sure if I'll return, but maybe I'll give it another try in the future. Food rating: 3/5.

I went there for lunch and noticed a sign above the register advertising a 3-piece combo for $7.09. However, Juan charged me $9.49. When I pointed out the mistake, he told me that the special wasn't showing up on his computer. I asked for the difference back, but he stated he couldn't help and that it wasn't his problem. I found his lack of professionalism disappointing; he made no effort to understand or resolve the issue, simply dismissing it as not his concern.
