Marriott Dallas Las Colinas - Irving

My initial impression of the driveway and exterior of the restaurant was bland and somewhat strange. However, upon closer inspection, the quality of the concrete was evident. The technical standards were clearly higher here compared to other places I have visited. The lobby was impressive, with friendly and well-trained staff. The room was clean and well-designed, with clear room number plates for easy navigation. I highly recommend staying here.

This Marriott hotel is a good choice, with a convenient location near great food, entertainment options, and a decent selection of beers. However, on a weekday night, the hotel bar was quite busy and the food and drinks were a bit overpriced. I ordered a Turkey Club sandwich, fries, and a Woodford and Coke which came to a total of $46. The pool was small and reminded me of my childhood city pool days. The staff was friendly and courteous, and the only room worth getting is one with a sea view. It was disappointing to find out that you now need to be a Platinum member to have access to a concierge, as I am a Gold Elite member. I booked a room with a balcony but was assigned a room without one. The Marriott staff acknowledged the mistake and compensated me with 3500 points, equivalent to $12. I have yet to receive my bill from the hotel, despite asking for it multiple times.

The staff is fantastic, with a beautiful view of the sea and a stunning lobby. However, the prices are a bit steep and they could definitely improve. There is a lot of attention to detail, but there are many flaws such as outdated floors and partially clean shower areas. Overall, it is just too expensive for what you get.

The hotel is very modern and clean, the staff is very accommodating, including the bar staff, will later remain open to our group to enjoy some drinks. the venues were very comfortable. the rooms are very comfortable, but somewhat too sterile for my taste. too much white, the rooms need some color. I don't get any Marriott properties, but the stay was pleasant and I recommend the hotel. there is also a large selection of restaurants and activities to walk.

Excellent hotel. Quiet rooms. Clean. Lots of choices for restaurants in the area. Great options for walking the canal with a trail along the waterway. Bar area was nice for drinks and watching football game. Staff was professional and welcoming. I would stay here again.
