Red Hat on the River - Irvington

We have enjoyed red for many years. unfortunately our youngest evening was disappointing. as usual, the restaurant is beautiful and the personal is both warm and competent. eating was clearly under his usual standard. I should have returned my main course, but not. when the server asked about the meal and learned that it was subpar, she removed the charge for my pornstar. that was welcome. Nevertheless, since a great part of the appeal of red has it is eating it a few times before we back.

The personal was wonderful! everything in all it was a beautiful evening.

We went to Red Hat on the River for my husband's birthday and were disappointed in the food. The view of the Hudson River was amazing but the quality of food was not. We asked our steak to be cooked medium but came to us well done and tough. The cod fish was dry and the chicken was very bland. Our server wasn't attentive because she was taking care of too many diners at the restaurant. I heard such good things about this restaurant but unfortunately, we were not impressed.

Food was great! Nice ambiance. Service was good. Not too overbearing yet attentive.

We ordered the Duck and Tuna both were done nicely. We appreciated the ambiance. We will probably go back when the weather is warmer. Advanced reservations are must when the weather is nice.
