Contribuisci feedback2 of my daughters and myself went to Wintergreens for Easter dinner. The food was great and the waitress was very nice and helpful. My concern was with how the hostess was dressed. For being Easter Sunday we were surprised to see she had on jeans and a hooded sweatshirt with multi colored tennis shoes. She looked like she had come in from gardening. We felt it was very inappropriate for the occasion. For a place that has cloth napkins I felt it should have been a little more high class than that.

My daughter and son-in-law took us to this restaurant for our anniversary, and we were quite disappointed. The waitress promptly took our drink order, and those arrived quickly. After we ordered our meals, she brought out our salads, which were just average. However, we then waited an excruciatingly long time for our main courses. The waitress repeatedly reassured us that it would only be a few minutes, but it ended up taking a good 45 minutes or more. By the time our food finally arrived, we were extremely hungry. However,
We had an excellent server named Nicole. She brought our appetizer out first, as my husband requested, and once we finished that, she brought us our salad. By the time we were done with the salad, our dinner of Walleye, which was outstanding, arrived. Nicole was very attentive throughout our meal. We will definitely return and hope to have her as our server again. We've been to another restaurant that doesn't even come close to matching the quality of your food.
It's obvious that they rely on frozen ingredients that are simply fried or baked. The fries are awful, and the burgers are dry and bland. If you happen to order steamed vegetables, they'll likely arrive cold, so it's not even worth it. My friends are big fans of this place, so unfortunately, I end up eating here quite frequently. I've tried a variety of items on the menu, but I've never been impressed. My family has decided to stop coming here altogether. If you have food allergies, such as gluten or lactose intolerance, you're out of luck—there aren't any alternative options available. I assume this is because nothing is made in-house.
