I had Mapo tofu and dried string beans. Both were really good. I didn't expect authentic Chinese food around this area. It was definitely one of my favorite Chinese restaurants.
They take tip 15% in the bill by adding it together with your order. So the total you got is price *115%. If you give tip again that is price *115%*115%.
This food isn't even edible. The worst Chinese I've ever had, possibly a fluke but I'm not dropping anymore money to find out. The egg/spring roll chode looking thing tastes like plastic and was the size of my big toe. The fried rice was over cooked, the hot and sour soup was a thick mess of what appeared to be snot, the wonton had about an eighth of a teaspoon of some cream cheese mixture, the pot sticker tasted like it had been fried last week and finally the Mongolian beef was burnt and tasted scorched, it all tasted and appeared to have been cooked and sitting a few days. I would be absolutely ashamed to serve anything like that and it's Chinese American food why was it lacking salt or seasoning? On the sunny side the beef stuff did have a bit of heat like advertised. Tl;Dr avoid this place like you avoid your in laws.
Food is yummy, only wish the portions were larger. I reccomend the general tsaos chicken and the chow main, also wish they provided ample sauces. Overall good experience. The old wood lodge is pretty awesome too!
