We requested two more drinks before our dinner, but those didn’t arrive until we had finished our meal, and once again, they were half-filled. We waited 15 minutes for dessert, and when it was finally served, there were no utensils provided. After another 10 minutes of waiting, we had to ask for them. The food was just mediocre, but the service was very disappointing.
The only restaurant in the hotel refused to serve me 30 minutes before closing, claiming they were too busy. However, the place seemed empty to me. I ended up having a Snickers bar for dinner.
Feeling quite hungry and thirsty, I settled at the bar and was relieved to find the place still open. The menu was limited, featuring only about ten items; I've shared a recent photo of it. Unfortunately, there’s no Sunday buffet or dinner options like steaks available at the moment. However, the kindness and friendliness of the staff made up for the absence of those usual offerings. I thoroughly enjoyed my drinks and chatting with the bartenders. I ordered a hot cheesesteak sandwich and, given my hunger, I devoured it in no time. Watching the Mets game from last night as I ate was a bonus, especially since they won! It felt fantastic to be out again, enjoying good company and a few drinks at the bar. While the limited menu was understandable, we’re eagerly anticipating the return of the steaks and buffet. A big thank you to the staff for making such a positive difference. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon!
Stayed overnight at the hotel yesterday. My boyfriend and I decided to go for breakfast at Bistro 58 since it was convenient. They advertise it as a brunch buffet for $16.50. I 've had better food from cheaper hotels with free buffets. There was not a wide array of choices, there were scrambled eggs that I 'm pretty sure were egg beaters, turkey sausage that had to be the cheapest they could find, whatever was inside was like sawdust, honestly it was the weirdest texture ever. They probably order from the same food catalog that prisons use. There was also bacon, regular sausage and hard boiled eggs, cereal and some fruit. There were no lunch choices, it should not have been called brunch . They featured a vanilla caramel coffee as an advertisement on the table but when I asked for it I was told she couldn 't make it and the bartender didn 't come in until 10 am. The apple juice my boyfriend ordered had to be sent back because there was something floating in it. When I tried mine it tasted so watered down that if it wasn 't golden I would have thought it actually was water. The waitress was very absent throughout our dining experience, at some point we thought maybe she quit. I asked the manager if my meal could be comped because the food was honestly gross which he complied with. I ended up settling with cereal. My boyfriend made an attempt to eat his food but I couldn 't do it. He 's complained about his stomach since breakfast. If you want breakfast after a night of staying at the hotel then I recommend you find a diner. Bistro 58 really needs to step their game up.
This place is terrible it took us an hour to get our food ... the waiter forgot to put in the order and claimed it was a paper jam .... WTF?!?!?!?!!!?!? Train your staff better ... they should be ashamed of themselves
