Choose on Sunday with the family order the frying dinner. would not recommend £13 for 1 adult and the part was small, quality medium with dry vegetables, small selection and non-existent heavy. other people eating looked nice, but they didn't order Sunday's. mine.
We went to the Four Crosses on a recommendation from our caravan site and we not disappointed. Food was good, staff, were pleasant and chatty as was the landlord. Place was cheerful and warm Will be going there again .
Went for lunch a few days ago, was very disappointed tried to place an order to find out they didn't have the main part of the meal Instock but I could double up on something else (no thankyou) Eventually ordered a burger the same as...the people I was with was very well done to the point I nearly chocked on my food trying to swallow it, Asked for Coleslaw which was supposed to be part of the meal came in a small dish, asked the waitress if we all got Coleslaw as we had all had the same meal she told us to share, then to hear her ranting very unprofessionally in the kitchen about us. Then seeing the cook leave the kitchen and walk into the toilet with her apron on was absolutely disgusting and very off putting
Ordered food at ten past seven.Poor atmosphere, staff seem agitated.Place not busy but food took over an hour to be served. Pie and chips and Scampi and chips!!! Arrived, chips cold!! Taken away, no apology! Returned, chips hot, meal fine but ruined by all the delay...etc.Prices also hiked. Many other places to eat locally, try those first. Must have been a change of management here. Would not recommend and will not return.
