Unfortunately they had a power cut before we were served deserts but Nicola the owner happily arranged a refund. Would visit again
Normal pub grub so can’t be amazing but the decor is too scary and unappealing to stare at while eating
We reluctantly decided to dine at this restaurant as it was the only option available at the time. We had heard mixed reviews about it, but we were pleasantly surprised. The food was actually quite good. The staff, who appeared to be young, possibly family members under 18, were serving food and cleaning tables efficiently. My son enjoyed his fish and chips, and I had a delicious lasagne. Although the menu was limited, the dishes we tried were well cooked and beautifully presented. The small bar had a pleasant atmosphere and we enjoyed a nice pint. Despite our initial reservations, we will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
The restaurant offers a decent selection of typical pub dishes like burgers, lasagna, and steak, as well as a kids menu. There is a play area in the beer garden and nice views of Dulas Bay. However, the tables indoors were very sticky.
I haven't been here for around 13 years, despite living only a few miles away. upon arriving I was greeted by 2 small children running amok, which I'm guessing were the owners as they were helping themselves to soft drinks from behind the bar. One of the children added ice from the bucket, licked the scoop and then put it back in the bucket. We should have taken that as an omen and left but we decided to give it a try. Tables were dirty and sticky. Picked up the menus which were very sticky and also grubby. I had the pie of the day, which I have to say was very nice, but didn't expect frozen chips, frozen peas and bisto for £14. The staff were ever so polite and very helpful. Ample parking Can't comment on the toilet facilities as I decided that would be pushing it a bit too far. decided to hold it till I got home. I wouldn't eat here again, I would happily pay £14 for home made pie and chips, but not of that standard.
