It's conveniently located just a short walk from the beach and the town center, making it a great option instead of the typical high street bars. Don't miss out on their amazing Sunday Roasts.
Food is certainly recommended. Really good value for money and cooked to order. No one should mind waiting as the wait is worth it.The Simeon is a proper pub with a great atmosphere, with a very helpful Landlord and good pleasant staff. If you should happen to be in Ryde i would drop in and see for yourself. The Landlord is Jamie and i believe that the Chef is called Ian.
We did not feel welcomed at all in this restaurant. It seemed to be frequented mostly by locals, and we felt like we were being stared at the entire time. The establishment was not clean, and I was dismayed to find there was no toilet paper in the ladies' restroom. We will not be returning to this restaurant.
The Sunday Roast at this restaurant is top-notch and offers great value, making it the best on the Isle of Wight.
A few of us stumbled across the Simeon on a day out and didn't realise they served Sunday lunches and I must say I was rather surprised!!The food was freshly home cooked and plenty of it!!the pub itself is a bit dated etc but the food makes up for that, we found it to be of good service and very reasonable, will definitely return for a meal here again.
