I couldn't find a mistake there. very friendly, friendly. renter is a beautiful guy. he made us feel like he was with his regulars. a real English pub. thanks for a great evening. can not wait to visit again if we were again for our next holiday. julie and jerry sat the couple on the bar stools.

Excellent pub and excellent service. Always visit the plough and barleycorn when ever we stay in shanklin . Gav the owner very friendly and always finds time to talk to his customers . Would recommend this pub to any one visiting shanklin

First pub in Isle of Wight I have visited for a year with all the problems we have had as we live on the mainland. I was impressed at the excellent way they handled the correct and safe way of coming in and enjoying. Despite the restrictions still provided a friendly approach. Nice to feel safe and enable one to get some life.
