The Bistro At Woodside Bay Lodge Retreat

Excellent! We got takeout from this place while staying at the Woodside Bay retreat and it was fantastic. It arrived quickly in 15 minutes and was incredibly delicious! We also went to the Bistro Bar for some drinks on our last night, which was delightful. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming.

The lodge was beautiful and spacious, perfect for our party of 4. We enjoyed the large whirlpool and the fantastic green surroundings. There was a beautiful forest path leading to a small, protected beach. Unfortunately, the on-site restaurant was not open and the food we had delivered was hit-or-miss. Overall, we had a great time at Woodside Bay Lodges, despite the challenges of the new normal.

We had an amazing experience at Woodside Bay Lodge Retreat. The lodge was beautifully furnished and had something for both adults and children. The highlight was the breathtaking secret bay located at the end of the forest. I highly recommend this place.

This restaurant was terrible. It was closed 4 out of the 7 days we were on holiday, with no food or refreshments available. There was no apology or explanation given, and we definitely will not be returning. Very disappointing experience.

We were disappointed as we had already had drinks, and there was no option for takeout delivery or a nearby shop. This left our family of 5 hungry and frustrated. It would have been better if they had been honest upfront about not being able to take food orders. Furthermore, the menu stated that food could be ordered until 8pm, but as we were finishing our drinks at 7, the bar staff began clearing away the seating. It seemed like they just wanted to close up early.
