The Captains Table - Isle of Wight

I stopped by for a quick coffee and ordered two large flat whites. The cups were massive, but unfortunately I was not happy with the taste. It may be a personal preference, but the coffee seemed more like a latte, with the grounds still present and no foam. I was disappointed. It seems like the staff could benefit from more training or educational materials on how to properly make a flat white. In the end, I would have preferred a Nescafé instant flat white over what was served to me.

I had a wonderful dining experience at this cozy little restaurant with affordable prices. The staff was very helpful and I enjoyed the Ploughman's platter, which was just right.

Sat on Wednesday morning before breakfast and ordered two mini breakfasts; a gluten-free. they both arrived in collection containers within minutes. they were delicious with a porch, kartoffel, boring, sinking, sausage and an order with broth. the container is compostable and the...utensils, wood both earthly friendly!

On Monday my man and I went to the bathroom in the morning and then promised us the breakfast on the beach. we went to the table of the captain to take away breakfast, I had a mini breakfast, my man a medium. we have them back to the beach with two coffees. both were excellent, the service was good, the personal friendly and all the regulations were adhered to. very clean. I was very impressed so much that we came back on Tuesday. I highly recommend that.

I had a lovely gluten free breakfast it had sausages hash browns and bread. It was amazing then went to beach and came back for cake and ice cream followed by feeding the ducks. It's a lovely location
