Dragon Wok is located in Sycamore Plaza on Academy Road, between bárre3 and SuperCuts. Despite being in a small business area across from PetsMart, there was no welcome upon entering the restaurant. A young child, around 10-12 years old, took my order and operated the register while three adults worked in the back. I found it odd that a child was in charge of the front of the house. The $9.99 lunch special included an entree, choice of soup, egg roll, and fortune cookie. The egg drop soup was thick and served in a to-go container with wontons on the side, but I found it unappetizing and didn't finish it. The egg roll also had a strange taste. The orange chicken entree was served in a to-go container and was disappointing. The fried rice seemed to be simply brown rice with a few vegetables mixed in. The chicken in the orange chicken was overcooked and tough, making it difficult to eat. I ended up throwing most of the meal away. The lack of customer service, unappetizing food, tough meat, and to-go containers for dine-in service made me decide I would not return to Dragon Wok. One star is generous in my opinion.
