Plenty of seafood options and Vanessa will be a great server in the morning. The rest of the staff is great including the chefs who put all the love into your yummy food.
The wait for our food took 25 min, the food was salty, the waiter had no common sense and didn’t refill our drinks or give us tortillas. Now I have awful diarrhea and possible food poisoning. Never going here again.
El Zarandeado is a totally legit, genuine mariscos (Mexican seafood) place. Their signature molcajete is loaded with incredibly fresh and flavorful shrimp, perfectly grilled tilapia, and surprisingly tender octopus, and excellent chicharrones all in a supremely delicious broth that will light you up. Definitely not for anyone not acclimated to wicked spicy entrees. The amazing thing was how the Heat never obscured, but rather enhanced the amazing flavors contained within. Everything else we tried was also excellent. Scary East Central Ave area, on the North edge of a hughe homeless concentration, but definitely worth braving. Yet another uniquely authentic (and delicious) Albuquerque gem. (Very little English spoken.... be prepared to wrestle with a bit of a language barrier)
Food horrible Service poor Atmosphere grotesque The drug addicted homeless are swarming outside and the roaches are swarming inside. Then for two terribly made plates and two canned soft drinks it cost $53.76. I do not recommend this place to anybody not even the starving bums outside. I almost forgot the music is so loud you can't even hear you own thoughts. ZERO stars all the way around.
