Real local atmosphere in the betsey. large homemade food and a good selection of ales and spirituosen. if they are in the area of farringdon, then check them out so pub. also a live event spot with regular occurrences of local and well-known artists. look at the pub to see what's going on, they won't be disappointed.

Really good local pub. with a little atmosphere. I attended a event, but get the impression that this has a lot of Twist customers

Really lovely cosy wood panelled pub thoughtfully decorated with lots of plants and retaining its history. Great and friendly bar staff who will go out of their way to make the drink you fancy. Space upstairs hosts comedy nights and the occasional band downstairs. Definitely a place to visit if you're in Farringdon.

Visited from Belgium to see a show upstairs. Its a nice pub, and the staff was amazing and SUPER friendly. (sorry for knocking over that vase! had a long fun conversation at the bar about what kind of snack to choose. (there was only real food or crisps and nuts and nothing in between Guy who checked my name off the list upstairs remembered my name! Next time in London we will come back here just to have a meal.

Great pub, selection of beers, bit limited on spirits, but the staff and the atmosphere make up for that.
